Upcoming Events

Code of Ethics Training for the Third Quadrennial (1/1/09--12/31/12). 
All members must complete a course on the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS® once during this 4-year period.  There is no grandfathering provision on this course.  Classes are available at the Board office on the following dates:

                                 Thursday, March 25, 2010 ~ 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.
                                 Wednesday, April 7, 2010 ~ 9:00 a.m. - Noon
                                 Wednesday, April 14, 2010 ~ 9:00 a.m. - Noon

                                 
Registration fee:  $30 for members (includes course, materials and 3 RI real estate Core CEH's toward your 2010 real license renewal).  To register, contact the Board office at (401) 274-8386 or email info@ricabor.org with your name, contact information and which course you would like to register for.  All classes will be held at the Board office:  365 Eddy Street, Suite 1, Providence.

$40 for non-members


Situational Aency for the Commercial Practioner
Instructor John Silvia teaches this course, specifically designed with the unique needs of the commercial practioner in mind.  He will assist our commercial members in defining their representational roles with their clients and ensure compliance with the Mandatory Real Estate Relationship Disclosure Forms.  This class will be held at the Board office:  365 Eddy Street, Suite 1, Providence.  Certified for 3 CEH's.  Cost is $40 for members.  To register, call the RIAR at (401) 785-9898, xt. 1, and reference class #379 with John Silvia.

REALTORS® from around Rhode Island will meet at the State House on April 6, 2010 to bring our business issues to the attention of the General Assembly.  More details to follow!
